The Haworth Open Storytelling Circle is an open mic format storytelling group that gets together in Haworth, West Yorkshire. We held our first meeting on the 19th of March 2012 and have met every month. We meet on every 3rd Monday of the month in the back room of the Haworth Old Hall Inn, a venue with a fine selection of real ales.
Attendance and performance is diverse, ranging from self-penned tales to poetry, traditional folktales to personal vignettes.
It doesn’t matter if you are a complete beginner wanting to start or an experienced teller of tall tales, if you are a storyteller, come and share your stories with others. If you are a writer or poet, come and share your work. If you would rather someone else read it, that’s fine too. And if you just want to come and listen, you are welcome.
