Open Storytelling Circle

On Monday 17th June we held our monthly “Haworth Open Storytelling Circle”, a regular open floor night held at the Haworth Old Hall Inn.

We had some new visitors this month, including a poet. It is a while since we have had poetry so it was lovely to hear some new poetry on the evening. Thank you 🙂

Jeff set the scene for the evening with a moving biographical piece from a man who had survived the war in Bosnia. Several other tellers came forward and reprised pieces that they had maybe not performed for a while. Amongst them, Adam performed the first parts each of the Tale of Taliesin and the first branch of the Mabinogion, while Craig reprised a short science fiction piece he had written. Jim presented us with a short story from Robert Louis Stephenson, The Touchstone.
