Open Storytelling Circle April 2015

What an evening! In all, about 17 of us, a wonderful turn out that included new faces, old friends revisiting and regulars. A small core of tellers and poets, with Jim telling a couple of tales of the bizarre both of which featured death surrounded by unusual and suspicious supernatural circumstance, Craig delivering a poem about the death of CĂș Chulainn as well as a comic piece revisited, George tried out a new monologue, The Secret History as well as revisiting Fancy Man Stan, The Todmorden UFO and Le Grand Depart and Adam told the second branch of the Mabinogion in several short tellings over the evening before revisiting the tale of the Storyneeding Girl. The partner of one of our visiting poets read out one of her very touching poems.

It was lovely to have such a responsive audience and a great chat afterwards.
